What is required?

To use this service you will require Windows 7, 8 or 10; otherwise no special software is required.

Will this service cost any extra?

There is no additional cost to use this service. Standard fees apply as outlined in the Rules of Court.

Who can use this service?

Legal practitioners and Government departments/agencies will be able to access this service.

How do I pay the required fees?

Electronic payment of the fees is required. The eLodgment submission process will assist you with the payment procedure. You can make payments using Mastercard, Visacard or a direct debit account.

How secure is the system?

The Department of the Attorney General will take all reasonable precautions to protect data from misuse and unauthorised access. Information transmitted via the Department of the Attorney General's portal uses the latest 128-bit technology in data encryption to help protect systems and information. The Department uses firewalls, intrusion detection systems and virus scanning tools.

What documents can be lodged and where?

This service allows all documents to be lodged in the District Court of Western Australia and a number of key documents to be lodged in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the State Administrative Tribunal and the Magistrates Courts Civil Jurisdiction.
